Bigger, faster, taller, stronger. This is the new world order and it is literally killing us.
From bloated mortgages and luxury vehicles to oversized food portions, we as a society are stressed out and plumped up.
When will this destructive behavior end? What will make us come to our senses? How do we stop the insanity before life as we know it is over?
The answer is simple; we need a new approach. It’s time we stopped consuming life and rediscovered the joy of living a humble life.
Now I’m not advocating everyone move out to the country and start wearing overalls and chewing straw. Not at all!
I am advocating that we return to what made America great in the first place; faith, family, freedom and financial prudence. These are the values that made us great whether we lived on Wall Street or Main Street whether we were black or white, rich or poor, in or out.
Instead of living with the pedal to the metal it’s time we find value and meaning in each mile traveled. You got this! – CLICK TO TWEET
Faith
Faith is vital to fostering healthy families and communities and has therefore been the cornerstone of our society for the past four hundred years.
However, there is a movement away from faith and toward secularism which threatens to destroy our way of life. We need to return to our roots!
Family
Two parents of complimentary gender ensure our survival for future generations. But the family is under attack by a progressive agenda that is out of control. This trend must be stopped!
Therefore, let’s fight for the traditional family by humbly dialoguing with people from all walks of life whether we agree with them or not. Because, no matter how loud we shout, without an attitude of humility and love, we’ll never be heard.
Freedom
Freedom isn’t free. Whether freedom of speech, freedom of worship or freedom to follow one’s own path in life, we all must do our part to support candidates and policies that promote limited government.
Limited government permits individuals, markets and societies freedom to thrive.
Finances
America is the single most consumer driven culture in the history of mankind. What’s worse is we’re exporting our consumerism to other countries and continents throughout the world.
We need to stop hyper-spending and start saving and giving.
Take Action
Living a humble life begins by acknowledging that we are ALL made in the image of God who loves us and has a purpose for each of our lives.
2 Chronicles 7:14 wisely states, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
