I have a serious question. How can the actions of one man cause otherwise sane people to act insane?
February 14, 2018 Nikolas Cruz walked into Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FLA, set off the fire alarms and opened fire on students and teachers as they flooded the halls.
Cruz murdered 17 people and seriously injured another 14.
Nobody else is being charged as a co-conspirator. He acted alone and therefore this one’s on him, and nobody else.
Nikolas Cruz must take 100% responsibility for his actions and face the consequences; both in this life and the next.
One would think that personal responsibility would be a pretty simple idea to understand. Evidently, it’s not.
Much of the citizenry’s outrage since the shooting has been targeted toward an organization, the National Rifle Association (NRA) instead of the shooter, Nikolas Cruz.
According to a recent article by Moneyish, several companys are cutting ties with the NRA and their members.
Moreover, there is a major troll storm on social media against the NRA. This is pure insanity. There’s no other way to put it.
My question is, why? Was Cruz a member of the NRA? Did he yell out, “I love the NRA,” while pulling the trigger? Did he commit this horrible act in the name of the NRA?
The answer is an emphatic, No!
I Just Don’t Understand
I am completely beffudled that these company’s and thousands of others taking to social media would target their vitriol and place blame, for the actions of one man on the NRA, or any organization for that matter.
I challenge anyone to prove with credible evidence that the NRA advocates for gun violence toward other human beings for any other purpose than self-defense.
I am not a member of the NRA and I don’t own a gun. However, I will defend my right, and the right of every other human being to defend themselves against foes foreign or domestic.
Bad things happen in a free society but we must not blame society but the person who perpetrated the bad thing.
Yes, it’s that simple!
