Hate is a powerful emotion that destroys lives, families and nations. Right now, America has a serious problem with hate. How did we get here?
In 2008, Barack Obama, a community organizer and Jr. Senator from Chicago, IL, won the presidency in convincing fashion against his Republican counterpart, John McCain. Obama ran his campaign on hope and change.
Many Americans believed Obama’s victory proved once and for all that America was no longer ruled by racial inequality. Wrong!
In an ironic twist of fate it was Obama, the newly minted black President of the United States of America, who couldn’t leave the past in the past despite the millions of white voters who helped secure his election.
Obama inherited a country in economic dire straights fighting a war against a foreign enemy. Instead of making the discharge of these two issues the cornerstone of his administration he chose instead to divide America along racial and economic lines turning blacks and latinos living in our urban centers against their white suburban counterparts. It worked!
Now there is fear in the streets, blatant widespread disresepect for law enforcement and vigilante snipers killing police officers in cold blood. This is definitely a change but for the worse.
Before Obama we were Americans whether we were white, black or otherwise. We knew there were issues but we were working them out in relative peace and harmony. Not anymore. Obama’s legacy will be creating a racial divide not seen since the 1960’s.
Black Lives Matter
Now we have angry, violent, vulgar protestors shouting down and intimidating peaceful protestors in the name of “Black Lives Matter.” You better believe black lives matter! They are precious in God’s sight as are the lives of whites, latinos, asians etc. No more, no less.
I wish Michael Brown subscribed to black lives matter. Maybe then he would have had enough self-respect not to steal from a convenience store and manhandle the clerk. Maybe he would have cooperated with police instead of bum-rushing Officer Wilson. Maybe then he’d still be alive today.
I wish the black on black murderers in Chicago subscribed to black lives matter. Maybe then there would be 141 more black lives inhabiting that city who have been murdered since January 2016.
I wish Black Lives Matter, who block our freeways and disrespect our law enforcement officers, subscribed to black lives matter. Maybe then Facebook and YouTube wouldn’t be filled with their profanity and violence.
If you believe black lives matter then don’t block our freeways, intimidate your opponents or recite the four-letter word dictionary instead promote faith, education, sobriety and self-respect within our urban centers.
In light of the racially motivated violence plaguing our communities you would think that Obama would take a conciliatory tone to help foster peace and unity. Not!
Instead, he doubles down blaming the deaths of five Dallas Police Officers, gunned down by a black assailant, on racially biased police departments while speaking at their funeral. Unbelievable!
Obama’s dangerously irresponsible words will incite further violence. As I write this another such incident is happening in Milwaukee, WI.
Then the First Lady, Michelle Obama while delivering a commencement speech to Topeka, KS graduating seniors tells them her ancestors arrived in America in chains and that it’s the students responsibility to shut up their racist white grandparents, aunts and uncles when they make racist jokes during the holidays. You can’t make this stuff up folks!
Hey Mcfly – your thinly veiled jabs and barbs aren’t helping diffuse the violence – it’s fueling it!
Unfortunately, the Obamas are set on inciting a racial civil war. Why? That’s what I ask myself. Obamas, why are you doing this? To stay in power? Does your lust for power and greed for profit know no end? Do you have no shame?
Then I realize the hate and racism that they project on their opponents is the same hate and racism that exists in their own hearts. The Obamas blame their opponents for their own failed policies and lackluster leadership turning to executive orders and authoritarian edicts instead of working within the framework of the constitution.
These two hate America but we can’t hate them in return. Instead we must pray for them and ask the Lord to accomplish His will for our country.
Dear Lord, I pray that you would redeem Barack and Michelle Obama by your grace through the blood of your cross. Replace their hate and anger with your love for all mankind and place your mercy in their hearts and truth on their lips. Amen.
I will not allow the Obamas to fill my heart with hate toward anyone. I have hidden in my heart the love of Jesus Christ that repels hatred. Therefore I will show my fellow man whether black or white, yellow or brown, only respect and dignity by acts of kindness and generosity.
I pray that you will also reject the Obama Doctrine of hatred and division and purge the hatred from your own heart. If you do this, then, and only then, will you truly bring hope and change to your world!
