Christian voters of the 52nd Congressional District have a difficult decision November 8, 2016 for it seems their is no one candidate who supports their values on hot-button social issues.
I am a resident of the 52nd Congressional District; and as such, I was curious whether any of the candidates represented my conservative Christian values. This prompted me to send each of them an email February 2nd, 2016 and await their response.
To my disappointment, none of the candidates replied; including Scott Peters, Denise Gitsham and Jacquie Atkinson.

If elected will you make the following issues a top priority of your administration?
- Work with other legislators to roll back recent decision by SCOTUS permitting same sex marriage?
- Return the right of unborn viable human beings to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness which is guaranteed by our Constitution?
- Protect the rights of Christian’s who are being maliciously targeted by some (NOT ALL) in the LGBT community for their values and ignored by the current executive, and judicial branches of the federal government?
I am requesting answers to these questions within the next seven days and will post your answers or the fact that you didn’t answer on my website at http://imustspeak.com to inform the electorate where you stand on these issues.
What I Think
It is my belief that every voter has the right to ask a question of any candidate running for public office and expect to receive an answer. Simple, right? Wrong! Unfortunately today’s elections are operated by political strategists not the candidates themselves. Therefore instead of approaching the election process with genuineness and authenticity most candidates will stick to the script and hope for victory further degrading the quality of elected representation at all levels of government.
