Donald Trump wasn’t my first choice, he wasn’t even my second choice but when I recognized that he was America’s choice, well…that was good enough for me.
Therefore, November 8, 2016 I will cast my vote to elect Donald J. Trump as the 45th President of the United States of America.
Trump is authentic, he says what’s on his mind, whether it’s popular or not, and never shys away from a question – even when he should. This is his greatest strength and his greatest weakness.
However, it’s better to elect someone who has nothing to hide than someone like Hillary Clinton who has repeatedly lied to the public, hidden behind the cloak of politicical elitism and proven time and again that she cannot be trusted to be the next Commander In Chief.
The name Trump is synonymous with success. He has built businesses, erected sky scrapers and employed thousands of workers during his career. He has done all of this while under the glare of the spotlight and has never once been indicted for a criminal offense.
He is the author of the book, The Art of the Deal, has his own clothing line and has been a sought after speaker for decades appearing on talk shows and documentaries. Perhaps he’s best known for hosting the reality TV show, the Apprentice, where he coined the phrase, “You’re Fired!”
Trump is now passing his success to his children. At a nobler time in our history he would have been lauded by the media for his accomplishments instead of castigated which is the case today.
Trump has the respect and affection of his children which speaks volumes of his character and paternal instinct. Many men today abandon their children after a divorce. Not Trump! He’s stayed in their lives, taught them right from wrong and has given them the tools to succeed.
I am Christian and therefore have the responsibility to elect someone who shares my values. This doens’t mean they have to be a card carrying member of my church but it does mean they must prioritize and champion causes that matter to me; such as, the Constitution and Bill of Rights, the rule of law, the right to life of the unborn, national security, the right to bear arms and promoting a free market system that rewards hard work and ingenuity. And yes, these are intrinsic values found in the Bible.
The framers of our government instituted three branches (Executive, Legislative & Judicial), a bicameral legislature and separation of powers to foster checks and balances. Though this is the best form of government known to man it certainly isn’t perfect.
The Supreme Court is conspicuously positioned to plunge America into an uncontrollable tailspin.
If elected, Hillary will have the power to nominate activist anti-constructionist judges who will create an imbalance on the Court in favor of immoral, dangerously ultra-liberal values for the next half century.
This will be the end of America as we know it. We will lose our national sovereignty, freedom to exercise our faith in the public square, our borders will be opened indiscriminately and we will lose more jobs overseas and so on.
You might be voting for Hillary and think it’s disgusting to vote for Trump. You also might be duped by the mainstream media or rather should I say the Democat’s private Press Corps.
So let me set the record straight. Trump is not a racist, misogynist or fascist.
Donald Trump is an ordinary citizen who is fed up with career politicians ruining our country. He’s fed up with lobbyists and special interest groups setting the national agenda. He’s fed up with drug cartels, Islamic terrorists, illegal immigrants and foreign politicians breaking our laws and disrespecting our leadership. He’s fed up with America coming in second – and so am I!
We have to win on the world stage because losing means losing our freedom, peace of mind and way of life. I can’t live with that and neither can you. November 8th you and I will decide the fate of this experiment called “America.” I pray that you make the right decision.
