Voters of the 52nd Congressional District it’s time to elect your next representative to the 115th United States Congress. Let’s get to know the candidates.
Scott Peters (D-Rep) is an obedient democrat who has followed President Obama’s lead to the extreme left. He calls himself a moderate but don’t be fooled.
He supports murdering the unborn, gay marriage, increasing entitlements, weakening the military, increasing taxes on the middle-class and federal consolidation of education, healthcare, property-rights and gun ownership.
Peters’ is a leftist extremist, anti-constructionist who must be sent back to the private sector.
Scott Peters’ Record
Gitsham is leading the republican pack in fundraising and silence. Her strategy to this point most resembles the rope a dope, first made famous by Muhammad Ali in his fight against George Foreman, by keeping her views close to the vest while her opponents duke it out.
She has repeatedly spurned voters’ questions (mine included) and though her website is a convertative voter’s dream, it may be too good.
In addition, it seems the Washington establishment is the primary source of her fundraising to date. Why is this important? Because, if elected, Gitsham will be loyal to her Washington supporters, not the voters of the 52nd.
Unfortunately Gitsham’s strategy is inauthentic and proves she is not a leader but another political crony seeking power, position and a paycheck.
Jacquie Atkinson is a highly decorated, honorably discharged war veteran who deserves our respect.
Unfortunately, she is vague on the issues and doesn’t instill confidence that her expertise goes beyond her military service. In addition, she openly supports the LGBT community, of which she is a member, and is silent on important social issues; such as, abortion, gay marriage and the quickly eroding rights of Christians.
Also, her fundraising has been lackluster to this point which brings in to question her ability to organize and deploy an effective ground game to bolster her support.
The Dark Horst
John Horst is a complicated fellow. If you can figure him out please let me know.
Unfortunately, none of the candidates personify courage and the ideological convictions to inspire the electorate. Oh well, maybe next time.
